GUIDES
Up and running in an afternoon.
Four short guides. No videos to sit through, no certification at the end.
01 · Connect in 30 seconds
- Open login and pick Slack or Telegram.
- Press Start (Telegram) or add Brainy to a channel (Slack).
- Send anything: “remind me to stretch at 4pm”. A parsed reply lands in seconds.
- Done. No password, no app, no onboarding call.
Tip: the whole thing is three taps. Time yourself.
02 · Send your first capture
- Write like you talk: “review the term sheet with Alex Tuesday 4pm #deals”.
- Dates, people and tags are extracted automatically — no pickers, no forms.
- Send a voice note or a whiteboard photo: same pipeline, same result.
- Reply in-thread to fix anything; Brainy learns the correction.
- Add p1/p2/p3 for priority — “call dentist tomorrow 9am p1”.
Tip: start sloppy. The parser prefers human over formatted.
03 · Understand the 08:00 digest
- One calm summary every morning: what is due, what moved, what needs you.
- Reply to any line to snooze, reassign, or mark done.
- Unanswered items climb politely: digest → nudge → reschedule proposal.
- In meetings or focus time, everything waits silently and arrives batched.
- Digest time is yours — change it in Settings or send /setdigest. Sundays add a weekly review at 20:00 (/setweeklydigest); Chief adds the full morning briefing.
- Traveling? Timezone follows your chat app automatically, or set your own with /settimezone. Quiet hours are respected.
Tip: the digest is the whole app. Everything else is plumbing.
04 · Voice, photos & files
- Voice memos arrive transcribed (Whisper-v3 on Pro) and filed like text.
- Snap a whiteboard or a document — action items come out as tasks.
- Long rambles welcome: Brainy keeps the commitments, drops the filler.
- Everything lands in your vault diff for approval, same as typed captures.
Tip: dictate while walking. Capture loves motion.
Clear your head.
Let Brainy follow up.
